Pigplane

This was the final project in my Motion Graphics I class. We had to pick a short blurb from newspaper clippings and then animate the story in the way we saw fit. There was a time minimum, and we needed to incorporate sound. I chose a song as well as specific sounds to accent movements.

This was a great assignment in tracking, masking compositions within other compositions, and layering elements correctly. It was also a good exercise in sticking with a very long assignment (both in time requirement and the length of time required to create the video). Special time was spent on syncing events and accent sounds (like the door-handle sound) up with the music.

Object in Motion

An experiment into linking sound and motion. I focused mainly on working with movement to interesting parts of the beat to create a visually interesting piece.
